Tamiya Blackfoot

Another vintage RC we have is an original Blackfoot. These were made in 1986 and many people claim this is the truck that started the monster truck craze. They weren't all that expensive back then as they were based on the Frog chassis. We got it in 1989 if I remember right. My Dad bought it from a kid at his work. The truck was assembled but brand new and never run. I basically packed it away until about 1998. It was then that I decided to finish the truck by installing radio gear and making it run. Once it was all up an running I ran it maybe twice and now it is a display model like most of the other older Tamiya vehicles we have. All of our cars are perfect as far as I am concerned and I fear running them and damaging a part that isn't available anymore.
