MONSTER BUGGY! |
As you can see, we have a set of aluminum shocktowers on one of our Buggies. These at one time were going to be a marketed item. However due to the slim market for these cars we never went any further with them. They are machined from .250 6061 T6 aluminum and have a brushed finish on them. |

Here is the picture of the rear towers. Our's has a hole in the center of them due to the relocation of the kill switch. When using the aftermarket heads and barrels the kill switch must be relocated. The spot our's is in looked the best and is easy to get to in order to kill the engine. The rear towers are made of the same material and are of the same thickness as the front towers. |

Here is a closer picture of the heart of our MB. Based on the stock 23cc Zenoah we added some hi-po parts. They include a ADA Racing billet head and barrel combo. Our barrel is mildy ported as well as polished too. This set up, as stated before, raises compression to approx. 13.5:1. In addition to those parts, the car already had a K&N filter set on it, velocity stack and I added a "hotter" ignition coil. Gearing in the car is as follows. The main pinion and spur are direct from Traxxas as the highest gearing you can get. The rearend from what I can gather is geared lower than stock. Compared to our stock MB, this one seems more violent upon launch but at top end it "flattens out". There are plans in the future to add a lightweight flywheel and I would like to look into gearing the rearend higher.
